What are Soulmates and Twinflames??
There is much confusion about soul mates and twin souls. Very often these two terms have been used synonymously. They are not synonymous. One can have many soul mates but one has only one twin soul.
A Soul Mate is somebody that you will share a deep connection with while incarnating on this planet. They are divine extensions from the same soul family. They are two souls from opposite ends of the spiritual spectrum and they find themselves so attracted to each other from the moment they are created, that they are continually pulled towards finding each other in each physical life. While we are all Soul Mates to varying energetic degrees, some of us will connect more strongly than we do with others.
Soulmates come in various forms such as family, friends, and co-workers. Only a few of them are actually romantic partners. Soul mates do not necessarily mean that they are “loving” relationships. Our soul mates can be some of our most difficult relationships as they teach us our greatest lessons. A soulmate is someone with whom you share a soul connection with.
You and your soulmates come together to help each other to grow spiritually, and this path can be painful sometimes. It may involve friction or be fraught with problems. As long as you grow from these experiences, your soulmate relationship has fulfilled its mission. Soulmate relationships are often short-term, and it’s always vital that you forgive your soulmate for any painful experiences which occurred while you were together. Unforgiveness is a magnet which attracts similar situations repeatedly, and you don’t want that.
The more you love yourself….the more loving soul mate relationship you will attract. Remember, it is your state of consciousness that creates your reality ~ so whatever programs and beliefs you have will attract relationships to you to help you heal any distortions within your being that are not based on truth.
Twin Flames: Are soul mates that are exactly like you. They are the two halves of the exact soul, basically the other half of your soul. Your twin flame is your closest soul extension and can be a very powerful, deeply loving and fulfilling relationship. However, if you don’t love yourself then you will not have a compatible relationship with your twin flame. They will mirror every negative program, emotion, feeling and belief you have…..these relationships can be very trying if you have not cleared your negative programs and stepped into self love, respect and compassion for the self.
Our soul mates and twin flames are our soul family. We know each other from other places and other times ~ our hearts will be attracted. We have many soul mates yet only one twin flame to choose from, and it is our subconscious and heartfelt intentions that will draw to us the soul mate/twin flame based on our negative and positive qualities. Usually, the twin flame is not magnetized forward until the soul is purified enough to give and receive the unconditional love and universal mirrors that will be reflected to them.
The twin flame is an aspect of our higher self…..it will lovingly show us what we need to work on so we can merge into oneness and unification. Twin Flames are like a best friend you couldn’t find anywhere else, where a Soulmate is a being that blends well energetically with your soul.
Twin flame relationships in the physical world are rarer, and refer to someone who is your other half energetically. Usually, one twin flame is in the spirit world as a guide while the other one incarnates. If you’ve done all of your spiritual growth work and broken free of karma and reincarnation through the process of forgiving yourself and everyone, THEN your twin flame may incarnate at the same time as you. This will be a very happy and magical relationship and you are very fortunate indeed.
How do I find My Twin Flame or soulmate?
Keep your spiritual senses clear and focused on yourself Don’t spend every second of your free time looking for your soulmate or Twin Flame since, like I said above, the chances of finding him/her are slim. Focus on your goals, your lessons and making your life happy.
